Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

1. Cooling-Off Period

Students have a 7-day cooling-off period from the date of enrollment during which they may cancel for any reason and receive a full refund of all fees paid.

2. Cancellation Before Course Start

Cancellations received:

• 30+ days before course start: 90% refund (10% administrative fee)
• 15-29 days before course start: 75% refund
• 7-14 days before course start: 50% refund
• Less than 7 days before course start: 25% refund

3. Cancellation After Course Begins

Once a course has begun:

• Within first 20% of course: 50% refund of remaining course fees
• After 20% completion: No refund available

4. Medical or Emergency Withdrawals

Students who must withdraw due to documented medical emergencies or other extraordinary circumstances may be eligible for:

• Course credit for future enrollment
• Partial refund based on course completion
• Transfer to online or future courses

5. Academy-Initiated Cancellations

If Culinary Masters Academy cancels a course:

• Students receive a full refund of all fees paid
• Alternative course options will be offered
• Reasonable accommodation for rescheduling

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

• Application and registration fees
• Materials and equipment fees
• Certification and examination fees
• Uniform and textbook costs

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days using the original payment method. Processing may take longer for certain payment types.

8. Appeals Process

Students may appeal refund decisions by submitting a written appeal to our Academic Affairs office within 30 days of the original decision.
